Have you ever been to South Tampa Florida? There are so many different places to go while you are down there. One of those places that you do not want to miss or pass up is Graffiti Junktion. Lux Picture was honored to attend and photograph the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony that was held on May 13, 2015. Graffiti Junktion is still somewhat new to the South Tampa area although you wouldn’t be able to tell that from the initial crowd. When we arrived at Graffiti Junktion there were upwards of 75 people there and it was only about 5:15pm on a Wednesday; which was still not really enough time for everyone to get you of work and head up there for Happy Hour.
Graffiti Junktion is located at 3114 W. Bay to Bay Blvd. Tampa FL 33629 on the south side of the road. Once you go inside of the American Burger Bar you are captivated by all of the artwork “Graffiti” on the walls throughout the place. It is a place where Graffiti Artists were allowed to actually demonstrate their art on walls that many would see. Art is seen in many different way, and this place has been able to display that for all that come in. The people are nice, they greet you from the moment you come in, the staff was on top of it and did not make you wait long before they came out to take you order as well.
For the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce was there along with upwards of 30 others to celebrate as Graffiti Junktion is now part of the Chamber, open for the public, and excited about their new location. Rose Johnson, the membership manager of the South Tampa Chamber was there to be the official representative for the cutting of the ribbon. There were food and drinks for all to enjoy, along with those in attendance to meet with Michael Shaw, Graffiti Junktion Franchisee.
So, if you are ever in South Tampa, you need to stop on by and try one of their burgers and plate of wings! You won’t be disappointed.
