Today, Charles Alcorn contacted a Realtor from the Apollo Beach area to see 5 homes in the $200 to $400 range. The agent asked for a pre-qual letter and he said he was a cash buyer. Then she asked for a bank letter confirming and he refused. He said he has worked with other agents before and they never asked for verification. The agent said it was the broker’s policy. She then asked if he would meet her at our office and present identification and again he refused.
The lead came from Zillow.com. The phone number on the lead was 610-568-6730 and the email was charles.alcorn@outlook.com.
Please be careful! The agent refused to work with this person.
Just remember, if they refuse to give you information of proof of funds, or identification, don’t work with them.
